As part of our first-quarter outreach program, the team at Phlorem Growth and Wellness Foundation (PGWF) carried out a major food outreach in Ilorin, bringing hope, support, and nourishment to vulnerable families in the Alagbado Community of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
Supporting Communities Through Food Distribution in Ilorin
Ilorin, known for its rich culture and resilient people, was once again the focus of PGWF’s community outreach efforts. This particular outreach focused on the Alagbado Community, which consists of four closely connected neighborhoods: Ayegbami, Alagbado, Okelele, and Dada.
With help from a trusted local community leader, the PGWF team smoothly coordinated the outreach, moving from one area to the next with precision and care.
Food Packages Delivered to Four Communities
Our NGO food distribution in Ilorin wasn’t just about delivering food—it was about building relationships and showing empathy. Armed with bags of food items, the PGWF outreach team covered:
Okelele
Aiyegbami
Dada
Alagbado
At each stop, families welcomed us with gratitude, smiles, and heartfelt prayers. This outreach wasn’t just about handing out meals—it was about spreading hope and reinforcing the belief that no one is left behind.
We believe that feeding the hungry is more than charity—it’s an act of community building. Each food package delivered in this Ilorin outreach project carried a message of care and togetherness.
This initiative is a key part of PGWF’s 2025 first-quarter outreach plan, as we aim to support underserved communities across Nigeria, one family at a time.
