In the spirit of our first-quarter outreach, the Phlorem Growth and Wellness Foundation (PGWF) took a special journey to the city of Osogbo—a mission that touched hearts, lifted spirits, and reaffirmed the power of impact.
This time, we didn’t just visit one school. We visited two schools for children with special needs in a single day, spreading joy, hope, and encouragement every step of the way.
First Stop: School for Persons with Special Needs – Primary
Our outreach began at the School for Persons with Special Needs – Primary, located along Ikirun Road. Upon arrival, our team received a warm welcome from the head teacher and staff, who embraced PGWF’s vision of celebrating excellence.
Our CEO, Mr. Quadri, shared the mission of the outreach—to recognize and reward outstanding pupils with cash prizes and stationeries. With the help of a sign language interpreter, he delivered a heartfelt message of encouragement, reminding every child that they are seen, valued, and capable of greatness.
When the deserving pupils received their prizes, their faces lit up with joy. It wasn’t just about the rewards—it was about being celebrated for their hard work and potential.
To ensure teachers also felt recognized, our COO extended words of gratitude and presented them with raw food packages. It was a simple but powerful gesture to say: we see you, too.

Second Stop: School for Persons with Special Needs – Junior & Senior Secondary
From there, we moved to the Junior & Senior Secondary School for Persons with Special Needs, also in the Ikirun Road area. The students were busy with sports training for their upcoming inter-house games—a vibrant display of teamwork and resilience.
Respecting their schedule, our COO met briefly with the head teacher before addressing the students. In a short but powerful message, he encouraged them to stay focused and never stop striving for excellence.
Just like at the primary school, selected students were recognized with prizes for their outstanding academic performance—proof that their hard work does not go unnoticed.
A Day of Impact and Love
By the end of the day, the journey left our team inspired. It wasn’t just about the materials given—it was about spreading hope, dignity, and encouragement.
This outreach in Osogbo reaffirmed PGWF’s mission: to touch lives, support education, and ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, feels valued and celebrated.
