PGWF Osogbo Food Van Outreach

Fresh from our visit to the Schools for Persons with Special Needs in Osogbo, the Phlorem Growth and Wellness Foundation (PGWF) team embarked on another mission—this time to Obelawo Community. What awaited us would become the grand finale of our Q1 Food Van Outreach.

A Larger Challenge Than Expected

On arrival, we learned that Obelawo wasn’t just a single community. It was a network of five different zones, making it the largest and most demanding outreach we had taken on so far this quarter. But as always, we came prepared—with purpose in our hearts and structure in our plan.

Our local contact led us to the Chairman of the community, who, alongside his team, immediately took charge of coordinating the distribution. This ensured that every zone, every neighbourhood, and every family received their fair share of food supplies.

Reaching Every Corner

From Zone 1 to Zone 2, and onward through the rest, the sun beat down heavily on our team, but so did our determination. Where the food van could not reach, we went on foot—moving from house to house, street to street—with a single mission: make sure no one was left behind.

Our CEO, Mr. Quadri, led with compassion and energy—directing operations, motivating volunteers, and making sure every package reached the families who needed them most. He led not from the back, but from the front, as a true servant-leader should.

This wasn’t just about food—it was about care, dignity, and hope, reminding Obelawo residents they are not forgotten. By the last package, our bodies were tired but our spirits alive, ready to return to Lagos and plan the next outreach.

Closing Q1, Opening New Doors

Our Osogbo Food Van Outreach to Obelawo was the perfect way to close out our Q1 programs. But this is not the end. There are still communities waiting. Still families in need.

And the truth is—we can’t do it alone.

📌 Join us. Support us. Together, let’s reach even more communities with food, love, and hope.
